The Open Benchtable SMR (Side Mounted Rail) Kit replaces the standard compact brackets with a significantly more robust rail system. Compatible with the original BC1 Open Benchtable (V1), the V2, and the BC1 Open Benchtable Mini, the SMR features adjustable, rotating clamps that allow for the precise placement of radiators, fans, and other complementary hardware.
In keeping with the "maker" mindset of the Open Benchtable project, the SMR is optimized for custom solutions. The included brackets use a flat profile design specifically to make them easy to replicate and reproduce. Using our provided templates and dimensions, users can easily design and make their own bespoke mounting hardware directly or through 3rd party fabrication services.
